Title: MIDI Control Centre: unnecessary notification of firmware update
Post by: robst247 on May 12, 2017, 02:32:55 pm
Hi,

I am experiencing a minor bug with MIDI Control Centre when connecting to my MatrixBrute. Even though I have installed the latest firmware revision (1.1.0.73) into my MatrixBrute, every time I start up MIDI Control Centre I get a message informing me that a new firmware update (73) is available and asking me to install it. Under DEVICE / MatrixBrute, I see this text:

Firmware revision: 1.1.0.73
Update Available (73)

Are any other users having this issue?
How can I solve it? Obviously, I can just ignore the message every time I start MIDI Control Centre, but I would prefer a permanent solution.

Hello.

Oops, this is indeed a bit inconvenient.

Can you please try to delete the Matrixbrute like explained in this article ?

Keep me informed if it fixes your issue.

Best Regards.

Hi Edouard,

Thanks for your swift response. I tried your fix but it didn't work. I then uninstalled MIDI Control Centre, deleted its folder under Program Data/Arturia, deleted its registry keys and thus did a clean re-install. Now the  problem is fixed.  ;D

PS: By the way, I'm loving Synclavier V. What an amazing software synth - incredible sound design possibilities!
