Pigments is crashing Ableton anytime it's removed from a track, or a track that has Pigments on it is removed.
This is making Pigments unusable. Please fix.
Pigments: 2.0.1.837
Mac: 10.14.6
Ableton 10.1.14

It does'nt happen on Windows 10, when i test in my Live 10 Lite. Perhaps it's OS related somehow. Or a local error.
Have you in example tried to reinstall Pigments?

Hello,
Thanks for your reply, I didn't see your message until I logged back into the site because notifications weren't set.
To those who run this forum, it would be a good idea to automatically subscribe a user to threads they create. If a user takes the time to write a post, they're likely going to want to see replies. And those who take the time to reply will want their posts seen.
Getting back to the topic, yes, I did uninstall/reinstall today, and it's behaving the same way as described in the original post.

Just reinstalled Ableton 10.1.14_64 as well and am experiencing the same issues.

Which plug-ins do you use? Which have you tried? Does all plugin formats crash?
Does the standalone version of Pigments crash?

Hi LBH,
I'm using the VST3 version. I haven't tried the others.
-
Hi again LBH,
What is the best way to install the "VST" (not VST 3 version which I'm currently running). I don't see an option to install that in the Arturia Software Center.
Thanks -

Nevermind the last post. I redownloaded the installers without using Arturia Software Center, and it looks like I can select the VST2 version that way. I will give it a try.
It would be nice to have the ability to handle this in the ASC.

Just tried it with the VST2 variation, and all seems to be good!
I think the VST3 version has some issues. I noticed that the patches switch faster with the VST2 version as well.

Hi JD1101,
We can conclude, that you have an issue of some kind, when using the VST3 plugin in Ableton Live 10 on your OS. You can contact Arturia support about this.

Yes. I can tell that's confirmed by Arturia. They have said they will work on this load time difference in a thread in the Pigments technical forum.

Ok, I'll get in touch when I can.
Thanks, LBH.
-
And thanks to you JD1101.
Cheers

This issue is ongoing for me and yes, it is so annoying. To delete a track containing Pigments, you first need to freeze it. I can only delete it when the track is frozen. I'm currently running OS Catalina and Live 10.1.3 Suite.
