Hello Arturians!
Got a serious problem for you.
After browsing in AF R for about 30-45 minutes, the following happens reproducibly (i.e., every time):
1. Switching to an ARP2600 patch from anything else will produce a very loud noise burst / popping noise
2. The ARP2600 patch itself will be silent
3. Switching away from that ARP2600 patch will also produce the noise burst
4. After this happens the first time, every ARP2600 patch after will behave the same (see 1 - 3); none will function.
5. Only the ARP2600 patches are affected, and no others.
6. Unloading AF from my host app (see signature) and re-loading it will make it work correctly again.
7. The noise burst produced is so loud, it cannot be ruled out that it may harm speakers in some situations
Please advise. I am a little afraid to blow my monitors with that.
Cheers

Hi Zeitlos,
been using AFR recently quite frequently but never experienced your problem. I have a rather similar set up: Logic Pro 7.2.3 and Mac G5 DP 1.8

Hi Ewald,
thanks for your reply!
So this is even more mysterious then I initially thought. Hmmmm :-/

I'm having similar problems with some of the ARP2600 presets too. I get loud popping which isn't good for the monitors and the preset is also silent ???.

Well, obviously I had to try this out. Was able to play ARP2600 presets for around 10 minutes before it went silent. Then I would get a light popping sound when I changed presets, but no actual audio. I quit the app and restarted, works fine. I am on an iMac, OS 10.5.6 using AF 2.2.1.
