Title: Keylab88 Latancy probleme
Post by: sypro1999 on February 23, 2018, 03:53:20 pm
Hello
i am a piano player but new to the world of digital music, last month bought a keylab 88
i liked every thing in it but i am having a very big problem
THE LAG PROBLEME
i downloaded ASIO4ALL and it solved the problem but created another, the volume problem.
when ever i use ASIO4ALL the volume gets so low
one thing i did was connecting my laptop to my Samsung TV using HDMI and it was great the volume and the lag problem where gone
but i cant use the tv every time i want to play, and i cant live with the lag problem since i play piano and its so annoying to not hear what you play after some ms
what can i do to:
1-reduce the latency
2-boost up the volume

my laptop spec's:(Lenovo Legion Y520)
Core I5 7300-HQ
8 GB RAM
Sound: realtek
GPU: Nvidia GTX1050
HDD 1TB

What software are you using?

Weird, on my system, ASIO4ALL actually increases the volume because it bypasses all sound processing stuff that's going on.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

AFAIK ASIO4ALL don't/ should'nt affect volume.
Have you checked the volume setting on your PC?
Can you post a screenshot of your softwares audio settings when you use ASIO4ALL with your PCs realtec soundcard? And also the PCs volume settings, when you do that?

The alternative is to use an external amplified solutions of some kind.

In generel latency is regulated thru audiodriver buffer settings, and volume thru different volume controls.
