The Oberheim SEM only appears to respond on MIDI channel 1.
If I load up a number of instances into Vienna Ensemble and assigne each one to a different MIDI channel, only the instance assigned to channel 1 works. If I replace the other instances on channels 2 and above with different Analog Factory synths, they all work fine, only the SEM does not work.
I assume this is a bug. Please can somebody confirm, or clarify how I can get SEM to respond to different MIDI channels. I've only had it a couple of hours, and so far I've come across two significant issues.
Thanks for your help.

Yes I can confirm this bug.
We will release a bug fix update soon containing a fix for that.

Hallo trailerman,
Something disapointing for you:
Only the controls respond to other MIDI channels by enableing MIDI learn, but the keys will not. Maybe the developers weren't thinking that far. ???
If I get more infos about this forgotten feature I'll post it here. In the meantime, try not to loose your head about this. ;)
I recommend reporting this to Arturia via contact page (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/company/contact2.html).
Best regards

Thanks for the confirmation.
Would be massively grateful for a super-fast bug-fix so that issues like this are resolved. I'm really struggling to get this great synth into my current projects because of issues like this and others reported elsewhere.

Hopefully the beta will be available this week.

Hi Jules,
happy with the beta 2? I still miss the feature to choose a specific MIDI input channel, but at least OMNI MIDI input is working for what I do with it.

It's been a year since I originally posted about SEM only receiving MIDI on channel 1 in Vienna Ensemble.
I've just gone back to trying to use it in a project (running version 1.1.5 build 36768) and as far as I can tell, this issue has NOT been resolved. The SEM instance on channel 1 responds to incoming MIDI. All others do not. They do respond to using the on-screen keyboard, but not to incoming note info.
Please can somebody advise if I'm missing something here, because I though this was fixed ages ago.
Thanks

PS. It's the same with 64bit and 32bit versions of SEM - neither works.

Please can I get some kind of response on this issue?
I contacted Kevin, who used to look after the SEM, but he says he's no longer responsible. He's apparently forwarded the issue to whoever IS responsible, but I've heard nothing.
I'd be extremely grateful for some (any) kind of feedback.
Many thanks

Just testing the 1.1.6 build and it looks like the issue may be fixed.

Hi sorry for the late answer.
It should be fixed.
I hope this is solved,
