Like I wrote in the title:
I already own Spark VDM.
Will there be availability of the Spark LE harware controller for existing owners of Spark or Spark VDM software?
(At a lower price, that is?)
-
Seems not since you can't buy the big spark hardware alone... But hey, that would be great :) but this would be a door opened to cracked software, no?
-
Today i was thinking arturia could sell spark or sparkle hardware alone ONLY to people who have already registered a version of spark software on the site. like an upgrade solution. I remember NI did it with maschine MK1 (MK1 only if i remember well), sold only as replacement , and while maschine was selling for 550€ or so, the hardware alone was at 400...
Note that i remember that people ask for arturia's keyboards alone too (without the factory or laboratory software) and it never came. so won't hold your breath on this.

Hey,
The Spark LE actually runs off of the same software as the SPARK hardware. It is just a smaller controller. Also, the price is really the price of the hardware so there will be no discount for spark users.
Spark VDM is a separate program so there is no upgrade price.

I think it's possible, but you have to remap your knob as the SparkLE does not have three knob per pad.

no remapping needed, because SparkLE still has those 3 per pad, only accessible 1 pad at-a-time, that is, those 3 knobs control the selected pad. Need to control another pad's 3 knobs? Select it, et voilá :)
oh, and yes, the libraries are the same since SparkLE owners will have the same software as Spark controller owners. Only the GUI skins change either according to the controller connected or by manually forcing one of the available skins, if you wish to.

WOW! I'm going to buy one of these for my live set, much more portable than spark! Thanks Koshdukai for the info! :D
