The wait is over, I finally received my Minibrute. There seems to be some issues with it though.
When I turn on the unit after even a short time of being off (yes, the switch is on KBD) I get a small squeel of sound, but then no matter what, I get no sound out of the unit. The Pitch and Tempo light are blinking, the Amplification Envelope light is solid green. If I turn the power off then on again right away, I will get sound (most times).
Im pretty sure the dual boot isn't a feature. Has anyone encountered this, should I just open a ticket?
Also not sure why my forum account was deleted? Wasnt for lack of use, I've been checking the forums religiously.
Edit: Happened again (each time i turn it on), now the Amp Envelope light is fading from green to off and repeating (opposite to the tempo light). still no sound unless I reboot it.

my unit shows exactly the same problems you described :/

yes mine is making this too, but not all the time. i'm waiting a little before going further to resolve this.

Bruno from Arturia has told me that this is a problem with the power on sequence with some units. Apparently, the reason it works if you turn it off and back on again is because the second time the capacitors are already primed and the sequence completes correctly. Personally, I always just turn mine on for a few seconds, then flip it off and back on again. This works.
So far Bruno has indicated to me that Arturia is going to resolve this for us, but I don't want to speak for him. Definitely open a ticket, because you will have to get this fixed.

Thanks. I did get a private message from an Arturia employee. Basically just confirming the problem and telling me to open a ticket.
Ticket is opened, and the unit works at least so I can patiently wait for a fix.
Still loving the unit though!!

I desperately want a MiniBrute but they seem in ridiculously short supply.
I've called the guys at Music Matter (http://www.musicmatter.co.uk/arturia-minibrute) and they say I'll have to pay for one and get in the allocation queue because as soon as they receive stock it goes out to people who have pre-ordered.
I'm not always keen on putting money down first but looking on the web it looks like its the same story for all the shops.
Hopefully I can get one to play with by chrimbo. Will the issues be fixable by a firmware update or something?

I don't know yet, that's why I ask for machines with this issue...
