So just recently purchased one of these synths. The reason i bought it because my 2 fav synths ever are the Minimoog, VCS3 and Polykobol. This synth has both plus so much more. I thought it would be a big gamble buying a monosynth/para especially at this price. I have various monosynths all cheapos. This synth makes them decidedly average. With my Polyend tracker my other big purchase this year. I may be able finally to play live and not be chained to a computer. So here,s hoping it all works out

Congrats on the MatrixBrute! :)
Yes, it's a pretty rad monster mono, one that you can lose yourself in... I'll never let mine go!

Congratulations. I just got back around to playing my MatrixBrute after collecting dust for a year (I bought a moog one last January) and I actually forgot how wonderful it sounds and how fun it is to program.

As Dr. Justice aptly puts it: a monster you can get yourself lost in.
I would say the Minotaur legend is the other way around, the monster awaits in the labyrinth. ;D.
I bought mine three years ago and I'm only beginning to understand it's power.
It's not for someone who wants ready made presets.
I would look for Victor Morello's presets (Beyond the MB), Brute Alchemy, The Creator's notebook (sounds biblical).
And tweak the presets.
If ever you're on Windows, I find the free patch visualizer/editor useful.

If you have Cubase pro, Dr.Justice's panel should be very useful (I only have Cubase Elements).
