Swing not working on drum sequencer.
« on: April 07, 2016, 04:02:24 pm »
Latest Firmware. It seems Seq 1 and 2 I can get a noticeable swing however no swing whatsoever on drums. This is either with current track button on or off and with Drum highlighted. Furthermore sometimes when scrolling from 75 swing to 50 I get a 1/2 second audio drop out right before I hit 50.

Had enough now. Paid for this in February 2015, got it in July. It has never worked properly and I am now trying to sell it but only being offered half what it cost. Not to mention my time wasted trying to get it to work. I will not buy another Arturia product. Beatstep, MicroBrute and BSP all had stupid faults that have not been addressed. EDIT September 2016. Sold it in May but just got another one secondhand because I liked the random Drums so much with 1.3 firmware. 1.4 seemed to mess up this and swing for drums so keeping it at 1.3 till new firmware comes out. Also using it as a patch change/ direction controller for my Doepfer maq 16/3. Standalone midi only.

Sent a support ticket with a video demonstrating the issue. Hopefully resolved soon as I assume swing function on drums is a major feature.

One would put this high on the 'get fixed list'.

Curious how many do or do not have this issue with the latest firmware installed. I tried factory reset and reinstalling firmware, no change.

Ok well it seems I didn't really understand how the swing works on the BSP for drums. It only effects backbeat notes.

So it's working as it's supposed to?
