I asked this very question to Arturia Support. He answered that while he is not aware of any upcoming firmware updates, the product is not discontinued and it is therefore not out of the question.

I bet we never see an update. They’ve abandoned it. That’s what they do. Ditch it.

What are you looking for in an update?

To quote my support case from 2015:
"One bug in particular is critical to be able to use it for live performance: The instant restarting of the pattern when selecting a different length for the sequence or changing time division with no regard of beat clock. Now it is nigh impossible to change these without losing sync. It works when you change playback direction, so why it shouldn't work with the length or division is beyond me."

The answer I got then:
"I checked and this is already known and planned for a possible fix in a future firmware update ! I can not give any date or certainty though...
But I linked your message to give it more weight."

...but still not fixed. This is not a design choice. It is a clear bug.
